Last year we failed to make time for pumpkin carving. Our kitchen remodel was in full swing, I was 7 months pregnant and Mason was ill.

Throughout the entire year, the kids have reminded me of this awful neglect of a family holiday tradition.

So this year, I planned ahead and 2018's pumpkin carving party was a great success!

Pumpkins were carefully chosen along with pumpkin cupcakes and pumpkin ice cream from our local Country Pumpkin.

Designs were meticulously selected and carved.

Seeds were roasted and a good time was had by all.

 

I wonder if this will redeem me for a few years?
