A Back Yard Worth Waiting For

Finally....five years later... we have a back yard that matches the front! I can not express how much we are enjoying the finished space.

Camp Comeca - Take 2

Last year Jentry and six of her girlfriends attended Camp Comeca. This year it was just Jentry and her friend Mia returning. They had a blast and the only negative they had to say was that they wished they could have stayed all week. Maybe next year...

Then again, I am not entirely certain these two are mature enough to be away from home for five whole nights!

Happiness is... Having Cousins

My sister, nephew Isaac and niece Anna came to visit for not just one night, not just two nights but three whole nights! I am not sure how everyone else felt but I was in heaven. We played in several parks, swam in three different pools, ate popsicle, played school, built forts, watched movies, downed ice cream, played board games, road tripped to see Grandma Bose and Granny Mary in Wahoo and loved on each other until we fought. It was exactly what summer and family is all about.

A cousin is a ready made friend for life.

Pioneer Village

My mother and I have been wanting to take the kids to Pioneer Village for two years and we finally made it happen. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed a historic day at the famous Pioneer Village in Minden, NE.

Jentry chose to wear her pioneer dress for the special day. She cracks me up.

Everyone agreed that the 1980s kitchen looked just like mine. I think it is time for a remodel!

Playing chess in front of the People's Store. Just like the one in Stamford, NE years ago.
