Christmas Eve

This year, we hosted Papa and Onnie at our house for Christmas Eve. The weather was shifting to cold and windy but we were warm and cozy inside.

We enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and Christmas cookies while we pulled stuffers and unwrapped gifts.

Christmas Eve service at the Federated Church was beautiful and humbling. Silent Night by candle light will forever be a favorite Christmas tradition.

It was late when we arrived back home but we had to prep for Santa's arrival.  The boys both drew a picture for him and as I put my phone away for the night, I found this Google search by Mason. ;)

Christmas magic is silent.
You don't hear it ~
You feel it.
You know it.
You believe it.

Christmas Concert #2

The Jr. Sr. High School music concert was fantastic and put us all in the holiday spirit! Mr. Weir  and Mrs. Linabery have really built a wonderful music department.

Jentry played her alto sax in the band this semester. However, she was missing singing with the choir so she put in for a transfer from weights class for her second semester.

Can't wait to hear her sing again this Spring!

December David

David's back for another season of holiday surveillance and of course a few festive tricks.

According to the boys, finding David is the first priority of each day in December.

RIP Mullets

After a few years of the boys growing mullets, Nathan and I decided it was time for them to go. Denise Ochsner got them right in and all trimmed up.  Man do they look different!

Mason was not necessary in agreement with our decision.
