Dance Weekend

Jentry had another weekend filled with all things dance.

She attended her first junior high dance with a few of her besties. Friday, after track practice, they all got ready at Addison's house. I requested pictures and surprisingly got a few!

On Saturday, she performed her Jazz and Hip Hop routines for the last time of the season at KSD's Spring Recital.

My hope is that Jentry will continue dancing through life!

Easter With The Boys

Our Easter weekend broke tradition.

Our celebration was much smaller than usual.

Jentry was with her Stenger family, Nathan and John were busy working the mad April rush of planting season, my parents were in Florida, and the Hamiltons were with the Hamiltons in Columbus.

This left me and the boys. My sweet, loud, busy, loving, crazy, naughty, adorable boys.

We enjoyed two wonderful days at the cabin.

We fished.

We took a drive to Kansas. (Mason's request)

We hunted eggs in the Alma Park.

We dug in the sand.

We took in the Holy Saturday sunset.

We had sunrise service in the hot tub.

We attended the Alma Berean Church where the boys joined the children's hand-bell choir. We got to witness cousin, Margi Ehrke, vulnerably share her story. A testimony that God is still in the business of changing lives!

We found Easter Baskets in the yard.

We stood in ah at the glorious clouds dotting the turquoise-blue sky.

No matter our traditions or ways of celebration, nothing will ever change the story nor the meaning of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is risen indeed.

Moving Up

Tucker officially completed his first year of Preschool and the class celebrated with pajamas, pancakes and movie.

Tucker and his best buddy, Levi.

On Sunday, we attended an adorable Graduation / Moving Up program. Mrs. Mau amazes us all with her magical ability to wrangle all of the those little, wiggle, people.

Performance Company

Last Spring, Jentry made the decision to switch from Academy Dance classes to Performance Company dance classes. PC, as the insiders call it, is the next level at Kirby's Dance Studio and they competed twice in Omaha this Spring.

On February 27th, we got to see all the PC dancers perform in costume at their annual Showcase in York. Jentry was blessed with many fans to watch her rock her Hip Hop and Jazz routines.

It was a fantastic show!

There were definitely some hot mess moments leading up to the competitions, but I am so proud of Jentry's hard work and commitment to leaving it all out there on the stage.

March

Unfortunately, March was extremely busy for me at work as we transitioned to an entirely new underwriting software.

Majority of the month was a complete blur, however a few things took place that I wanted to capture.

1. The huge cottonwood tree that happily grew through the deck at the cabin went to be with Jesus. It simply had to go to make the construction of a new deck possible.

Our new table!

2. The boys kept me quite entertained at my desk, which is where I sat for most of the month.

"Look mom, I'm a cop car!"

"Look mom, I have a pony!"

3. Saint Patrick's Day - Corned beef and cabbage was of course the dinner menu.

4. Someone had to pick up the slack in the kitchen.

5. Nathan kept the kids out of my hair by putting them to work at the farm.

6. Mason competed in his first wrestling meet.

Jumping into 8

Mason jumped straight into 8!

We celebrated a few days early with 5 of his friends at the Spring City in Grand Island.

Papa and Onnie gifted him a new basketball hoop at the farm and they sang to him over brownie sundaes.

For his actual birthday, we sang yet again over his request of a blueberry muffin, Sunny D and presents.

The school honored him with a special image on their front monitor and he enjoyed lunch from Subway with his parents.

May God bless you and keep you Mason Dee!
