Fabulous February

I prefer to write blog posts in real time, but so far in 2020 I have only found the time to recap the months as they fly by.

I have to remind myself that it is far better to be living my life fully rather than documenting each detail.

This February was full of LOVE, lunch dates, birthdays, snap filters and a little magic too.

I have been drinking the Cricut Kool-Aid.

Gentle January

January 2020 was a blissful month of slowness. A month of new beginnings and more margin on my calendar! This is always welcomed after the whirlwind we kindly refer to as the holidays.

We rang in the new year at home, on the couch, in our comfies. Sorry, not sorry.

January brought some cold days, some snowy days and some warm sunny ones too.

We all enjoyed some extra time to enjoy our new, Christmas treasures. We built, we designed, we crafted!

On January 13th, the big kids had no school, so I snagged the opportunity to take them to Kearney for a special day of shopping and lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was just like the good old days with my mom and sister at the Hill Top Mall except lunch would have most definitely been at the Imperial Palace.

Mason's selection at Hobby Lobby.

Jentry's reaction to every single craft kit being pink, purple and glittery.

Mason's reaction to mom saying no to the mini Husker helmet.

The big kids also had 2 snow/ice days in January. Since mom still had to work, Mason spent one morning decorating my desk phone.

Mason got to be a part of the Lil' 'Stangs basketball team. Not sure how many skills were learned, but fun was definitely had.

Jentry qualified for the final round of the GeoBee. She did not win 1st place in Sutton but she is definitely a winner to us.

Meanwhile, my niece and nephew were cleaning house at Southern Valley's GeoBee.
