The Greatest Show

We spent this past weekend celebrating our tiny dancer.
Recital weekend meant a ton of hours devoted to Jentry's schedule but man was the show worth all the efforts.
She was absolutely glowing on stage and we proudly watched her nail all the moves.
This was Jentry's first year of dance classes with KSD in York and it well exceeded our expectations. I am hopeful her passion will keep her dancing for many years to come.

So proud of you sissy. It truly was the Greatest Show in Town!

Good Friday

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus but it also means no school and no daycare. So instead of attempting to work will all three munchkins home, I decided to take the day off and do something special.

We rolled out around 9 am and headed west to the big city.

First stop was Mason's choice of the Lincoln's Children Museum, which never disappoints.

After a quick lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, we headed to Target...Jentry's choice of course.

And finally, before heading home, we tiptoed through the vibrant tulips. This was my choice and I'm so glad we took the time.

How fortunate are we to have Jesus who died for our sins. And how fortunate am I to have three amazing children and the option of taking a vacation day to spend with them. It was a Good Friday indeed!

The Perfect Lamb

Hosting my family this Easter weekend brought so much joy. All the days of preparation were absolutely worth watching my 86 year old grandmother play ball with my kids.

A perfect day in which to celebrate our Perfect Lamb.

Celebrating the Good News with our family and church family; all dressed up in our Easter best.
Soaking up the warm, Spring sunshine.
Savoring every bite of scrumptious Easter dinner.
Hunting eggs among the tulips.
Bubble fun.
Quality conversation.
Birthday cake with Anna.
