Digging Being Three

Today this precious gift from above is celebrating his 3rd Birthday. This little person can make anyone grin with his denim blue eyes and missing tooth smile. He completely melts his parents' hearts and they sometimes just stare at him and agree on how perfect he is.

Mason celebrated on Sunday with a construction themed luncheon. His Papa & Grandma Bose, Papa & Onnie McKenzie, Uncle Bob & Aunt Deb, Unterseher cousins and of course Daddy, Mommy & Sissy were all there to help him party.

Mason's mom had a blast playing in the "mud" while creating his cake.

Mason received several special gifts including a Mack and King truck, an auto-hauler with new cars, a memory game and a new shark towel. His sissy was especially generous by wrapping up her purple Jeep as this is one of Mason's favorite toys of hers.

It was one of the best 3rd birthday bashes to date! Mason is so fascinated with his cake toys that he insists on sleeping with them. I would say the party was a smashing sucess.

Happiest of Birthdays to my very best boy.

Great Woof Lodge

Last weekend my amazing parents gave my family the fabulous experience of the Great Wolf Lodge. Or as Mason would say, "Great Woof Lodge." We traveled the four hours to Kansas City had a splish splashin' good time.

Mason basically splashed until he passed out. Every time we made him sit down and rest a bit he sobbed.

To the kiddos, staying at a hotel was almost as fun as the water park.

Staying in a hotel with grandparents means donuts for breakfast!

As an added bonus, there were several shopping locations next to the lodge. We spent a good amount of time at Cabelas. The displays were absolutely museum worthy.

It could buy me a boat!

I just love time with my family. No matter where we go, no matter what we do, we make the most amazing memories. I am so thankful that my children can grow up with these fabulous peeps.
