In case you were wondering what it looks like to turn 39 on a Monday when you are married with 3 kids:
1. Make your own breakfast plus more for all your hungry kiddos.
2. Clean up breakfast and log into work.
3. Taxi your four-your-old to preschool.
4. Back to work, answer emails, etc.
5. Spend 2 hours preparing the annual reports for the organization you willing joined for fun.
6. Make a grocery list.
7. Turn on and run sprinklers because it has been the driest winter in years and you actually care deeply about your grass.
8. Run errands to bank and post office.
9. Treat yourself to a tuna salad sandwich on multigrain bread, so you don't hate your food choices tomorrow.
10. Log on to a zoom tax meeting.
11. Attempt to forget everything the account just discussed while you enjoy a 1 hour massage.
12. Read a few birthday messages while waiting in the school pick-up line.
13. Finish up work and help your hubby with the supper he has offer to grill for you.
14. Spend a few minutes on the couch before driving your daughter to dance class.
15. Enjoy a quiet hour and a half by yourself in Walmart.
16. Buy a bottle of wine and be thrilled that the self-checkout attendee still selects the under 40 box.
The worst part of the day was treating myself to a chocolate chip cookie for dessert a realizing in the first bite that it was RAISIN!
All things considered was a great, sunshiny day. I received many well wishes from family and friends and felt all the love. I am so lucky to have LIVED 39 fantastic years and looking forward to challenging myself to more fun and play in the coming year.
