Esther Lucas, a Fire Chief and a Movie Star

Yesterday was quite an exciting day!

First, Esther Lucas graduated from Apple Valley School. She and her classmates celebrated with a great feast of foods from the pioneer times. We are so proud of Esther and her hard work.

Then, the cutest fire chief I have ever seen and a stunning movie star came to visit.

I got to take them trick or treating at Papa and Onnie's.

It even snowed!

Finally, our new kitchen cabinets were delivered and I could not be more anxious to see them go up and in.

What a crazy, fun Halloween!

32 Weeks

Oh baby brother. You have been with me for 32 precious, fleeting weeks. I am not sure if it is because I have been so busy, have a ton I'd like to yet accomplish, the time of year or simply the fact that I know this will be my last experience of pregnancy, but time needs to slow down! I want to soak up every minute of this amazing happening of life inside me. You seem to move about much more than your siblings and that has been so fascinating for everyone, especially me.

Too Cool

This kid... he just may be too cool for preschool. I mean really... just look at that face!

"I put the cool in preschool"

Yesterday, Mason's class got to take a mini field trip to Mustang Media, Sutton's local printing company. They each got to assist in screen printing their very own t-shirt to take home. What a treasure.

Oh October

So far October has consisted of...

Slime making.

Halloween Dress Rehearsals.

Grandparents Day / Apple Valley crafts.

Colorful foliage.

 Pumpkin crafts.

 Harvesting the pumpkin patch.

 And one special birthday celebration.

Not sure who was more excited, Nathan and his new cooler or Mason and the imaginary possibilities of the cardboard box.

This boy play and played until the box was completely demolished.

I Want to Help

I don't think baby brother has any idea how many of us there are who are eagerly preparing for his arrival. He will have plenty of hands to hold him and care for him. And that is a very exciting fact!

Harvest 2017

This lucky little boy got to spend yesterday morning cutting beans with customers and long time friends, Neal and Terry Carpenter.  He got to drive the combine and ride in the big truck to the elevator. He was in heaven.

So far, harvest 2017 gets a big thumbs up from Mason.
