Spring Break

We got to spend a few glorious days in Harlan County over Spring Break. 

Kelsi showed us her adorable new Highland calves and their mamas.

Mason captured the moon at sunrise over the lake.

The boys built a few forts in the cove.

The Hamilton's hit up the West Coast with a tour of Stanford and a few other California hot spots.

Girls State Basketball

The Sutton Fillies won the D1 District Final over Tri County which punched a ticket to the state tournament with a 20-7 record for the first time since 2022. 

Jentry, Kyla and Lincoln

Jentry cheered "with the band" even though her saxophone was not working.

I took the day off and drove the boys to the big event. After a 1st round, 48-33 win over Amherst's Broncos at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, we headed to the Gateway Mall for some shopping, arcade time and Scooters. It was a great day!

The Fillies ended up losing 54 to 56 to Elm Creek in the consolation round and placed 4th overall.

Shooting Sports Success

Because of Papa John's dedication, both these boys got an opportunity to participate in the 4-H shooting sports in Clay Center.  Mason's shot is definitely improving and Tucker did great in his first year.
