Mason and his fellow fourth grade mates went to Lincoln for their Spring field trip. They got to tour the State Capitol and were introduced to the senators as guests of Clay County Senator Murman.
In addition to the Capitol, the class toured the Governor's Mansion and the Nebraska History Museum.
Mason's favorite part of the trip was getting to see a LEGO replica of the capitol built by John Tooker from Lincoln. The model took six years to complete and contains 25,000 pieces.
