Surprise!
My sweetheart mother turned 70 on Valentine's Day and my sister an I were somehow able to pull off a surprise brunch at the historic Orleans Hotel.
She tried to ruin the surprise by leaving town for coffee in Alma, but we were able to convince her to come back to Orleans with a story about a flat tire. Other than that minor hiccup, the day could not have been more prefect.
It was easy to celebrate such an amazing lady!
She is loved by many and certainly by us.
