TJ 4 Months

Tucker Jack is four months old and just the sweetest little boy. He receives a billion kisses a day from each family members and continues to smile. No real laughs have yet been given. He drinks about 5oz of milk every three hours. He goes to sleep very well around 8:30 PM and is usually up twice in the night to eat. Every once and a while he will treat his mama to a 8-9 hour stretch. He still likes to be in his swaddle wrap at night. He can hold toys and brings them to his mouth. He can roll from tummy to back and from back to side. He can sit supported and loves to stand with assistance.

April Snow, Monster Trucks and Pink Cake

Last Wednesday it was beautiful and nearing 80 degrees. Tucker fell asleep on our walk and we grilled cheeseburgers on the patio. Life was glorious.

Then, just in time for the weekend, Saturday we were lucky enough to have yet another snow with cold temps and wind. Wahoo!

BUT, that didn't stop us from having a good time inside.

Nathan, Papa John and Mason had a boys afternoon at the Monster Jam in Lincoln. Mason was in the zone and having a blast.

Meanwhile at home, Jentry learned that baking and frosting a cake from scratch is a ton a work, not to mention the cleanup. She had fun and it tasted great, but let's just say she is not going to be opening a bakery in Sutton anytime soon.

Tucker spent the day playing with toys which is a fairly new development. He also likes to do leg raises and check out his toes.

Hey there blue eyes!

Splish Splash Pitter Pat

Jentry snapped a few photos of me giving Tucker a bath and even though the lighting wasn't the greatest, they made my heart go pitter pat.

These pictures are exactly what I want to remember about being a mama.

But...just to keep it real and unfiltered here are a few others that I took.

Hey there Tuckeroo!

Preschool Success

Mason has officially completed his first year of school. From the first day to the last day he loved every minute and was sad to say goodbye to his new friends. Thanks to Mrs. Mau, he will have some wonderful memories of learning.

3, 4 & 9

Somehow we managed to capture yet another set of photos for the memory books. Historically, I have taken on this task solo, but with the addition of a kiddo this year I recruited my husband. Thank goodness he agreed because there is no way I would have survived a day in Lincoln with the three youngsters by myself.

Tucker Jack 3 months

Mason Dee 4 years

Jentry Jaree 9 years

This!
Totally worth it.

A Fool's Easter

This Easter was definitely a strange one.

First of all, Easter on April Fool's Day is a bit strange in itself. Then, I attempted a fun evening of egg dying with my children and they were not that interested. Weird. Most the eggs in this picture were dyed by yours truly.

Then the weather was anything but Spring like. We had to bundle up for yet another chilly egg hunt in Stamford.

Warming up with some yummy cupcakes made by Aunt Sonja.

On the way home, Papa stopped at the farm and let Anna and Mason pet the calf in the barn. Our sweet Mason said, "I'm just so sad that calf is sick." That boy just melts my heart.

With Jentry being at her dad's, Isaac being a bit older and Tucker being little, cousin time was definitely a different dynamic. Anna and Mason played very well all day Saturday. We think they look the most alike of all the cousins and they had so much fun together.

Mason actually slowed enough to cuddle a bit with Papa.

Sunday we attended church in Alma with the Hamiltons. The service was wonderful with lots of great music by the Ehrke cousins, however it was different than being at the Presbyterian Church in Orleans. After church, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and yet another blustery egg hunt in Grandma's back yard.

Isaac was thrilled. Can you tell?

It is always hard to say goodbye, but Tucker was all smiles.

Mason played so hard he fell asleep with a goldfish in his mouth on the car ride home.

On the way home, we stopped to tell Papa and Onnie Happy Easter since the 8 inches of SNOW kept them from joining us in Orleans.

We certainly missed having Jentry with us, but thanks to technology we got to see pictures of her with her other siblings in her beautiful Easter dress.

This Easter was unlike any other I have experience but the truth remains the same. Jesus died for all, even us foolish people, so I guess a fool's Easter is fitting after all.
