June 30th consisted of church, cookies and coffee, presents, fried chicken at the legion with Onnie and Papa, a special cupcake dessert, family movie time (Holes), pool time with friends, ham loaf and sweet corn for supper, apple crisp for dessert and one more movie (Five Feet Apart). All of this after three late nights of Dugout Days carnival!

Beautiful Eleven
Eleven years ago, this girl was born 5 weeks early and made me a mother. Yesterday she baked her own special dessert of apple crisp. Every day she makes me proud. She is driven, passionate and silently confident. Her dream is to someday live a zero waste lifestyle (hence the recycled wrapping of her gifts) in a mobile tiny house. So grateful she was born into our lives. This month we celebrated her.

A few weeks ago she invited 5 of her girlfriends/classmates for a spa day sleepover. I set up a Bluetooth speaker to play soothing spa music but this spa was full of loud, crazy laughter and one curious little brother. Note is in almost every photo. They gave each other facials and pedicures and made sugar scrub, avocado face masks and bath bombs that, well... bombed.
