Christmas Programs

I will never cease to be amazed at how much time and effort certain, wonderful people will dedicate to directing our youth in Christmas programs every single year. I am very grateful and believe that there must be a very special place in heaven for these patient souls.

Wild ONE

Celebrating 365 days with our sweet Tuck Tuck.

From the precious first moments in the hospital, to the first Christmas season with family, the first stroller ride on a warm February day, learning to roll over, Baptizing you into God's family, introducing your to Great Granny Mary, your first day at Melisa's, your first smile, your fuzzy buzz, a snowy Easter in Orleans, learning to hold a rattle, being stingy with giggles, the squeals, your first taste of cereal, holding your own bottle, splashing in Onnie's pool, sleeping through the night while mom was away for work, sitting tall, fussy evenings, your goopy eye, spitting up after every single meal, crawling everywhere, putting in your own binki, pulling up to standing, your first tooth, nursing for the last time, clowning around at Pork Days, dancing, your first step, a terrible teething rash, constipation, da da, ma ma, and your first pair of boots.

Grateful for every one of the last 364 days with you Tucker Jack!

SIX

SIX years and countless, priceless memories.

We both agreed that the only thing we would change about the last six years was to have spent more time focusing on us from the beginning.

And perhaps all the unnecessary, cultural wedding details!

Thanks for arranging a fabulous night in downtown Lincoln. What a splendid surprise! Even if Mason spilled the beans the day before. Cheers to us and many many more!

Preparing for the Season

The holiday season is always hectic but I adore each day of preparation and anticipation leading up to Christmas Day.

Mason helping the Chamber set out the holiday characters.

David's escapades have gotten a bit more interesting now that Sissy is helping him. I am sad that Jentry has outgrown the magic this year but stoked that David has a new assistant.

Some suggest I go a bit overboard with my decorating, gift buying, cooking making, card sending, etc. but compared to God's preparation for the very first Christmas my efforts will never be the equal. His perfect plan is an unmatched masterpiece.

Parade of Lights 2018

Baby it was cold and snowy outside but Sutton's Parade of Lights always fills my holiday bucket.

Mason and his pal, Bodhi

Jentry and her Elf pal, Kyla

This year Jentry assisted Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Mason asked for a flatbed trailer and Tucker was on the outside of mom's tummy!
